Eucharist – the practice of union

  • Potluck dinner follows the service, please bring food to share
  • RSVP by email or Facebook.

Eucharist (in some churches called The Lord’s Supper, Holy Communion, the Mass, or the Divine Liturgy) enacts the weaving together of the Divine and the human, and the simultaneous weaving together of each of us into the sacred community.

It means different things to each person. To put it another way, the Eucharist is a mystery, endlessly generative of sacred meaning.

Each time we gather, we offer ourselves, our words, our love for each other, we listen, we pray out loud and in silence and we welcome the Presence as deeply as we’re able.

Each person makes their own sense of it. But we stand together in our practice of it.

Come. Give thanks and praise!
